Frederick Poole Cullimore 1797-1875
Frederick Poole Cullimore was born in 1789. Not much is known about Frederick's life, he married Harriet Pick on the 12th of August 1826 but then there is no more information until 1841 when the more detailed censuses started. In 1841 he was living with his family of 8 sons and 2 daughters at Green Farm, Stinchcombe.
Another son, Frederick was born 2 years later and by the 1851 census the familoy had moved to Bainham, Berkeley. We know from the censuses that Frederick Poole Cullimore was a farmer and hay dealer for all of his working life, finally retiring by the 1871 census and passing away in 1875.

Joseph Cullimore 1827
The only thing we know about Joseph Cullimore is his year of birth, 1827, and that he was baptised on the 15th of April in Cromhall.
Augustus Cullimore 1829-1899
Augustus, born in 1829, was baptised in Falfield. He married Amelia Blanch Barton from Cam in 1869 and they had two children, Augustus and Olive. From the probate record we can see that Augustus was an army pensioner however army records dated before 1900 are scare and unreadable so we have no idea when he was in the army or with which regiment.

By 1861 he was a Rockhampton farmer with 91 acres and employing one man. on the 1871 census he is listed as a Haulier in Cam - could this be the link to the Cullimore family with their successful hauliage business on the A38?
By 1881 he is living and working at Swanley Farm in Berkely with 230 acres. James married Sarah Pegler in 1859 and they went on to have four children. James died at home in Swanley on the 9th of November 1887.

Oliver Cullimore 1832-1916
Oliver was born in 1832 and appears on the 1841 and 1851 census as the son of the head of the household. then he disappears! He reappears in the death records for 1916 in Dursley. He may have travelled or been in the army but I have no evidence to support this.
Elizabeth Cullimore 1834
Elizabeth was the first of only two daughters. She nevers marries but lives with family members while working as a dressmaker. She is still alive on the 1911 census and is listed as a visitor to her brother Augustus' wife at The Prince Albert Inn near Stroud.
Ellen Cullimore 1836
Ellen's records only lead up to 1861. I can only assume that she married at all searches for her lead to dead ends.

Henry followed in the family's footsteps by becoming a hay dealer. He moved to Bedwelty, Monmouthshire by 1861 and then Herefordshire taking his trade with him. He married Mary and they had 8 children.

Frederick Cullimore 1843-1873
Frederick was the youngster of the family and after being born in 1843 he went on to marry Louisa E Gainer in 1866 and set up a hay dealing business in Stinchcombe. I have found no records of children and he died at a very young age - just 39! He died on 25th January 1873 in Stinchcombe.
Frederick found himself in trouble during 1859.
