Rebeckah was born in 1800 Siston and was baptised on 16th of December 1804. She married Peter Fudge on the 7th of August 1829.
Rebeckah faced a particularly torrid time when her husband Peter Fudge was called in as replacement foreman at the hatting factory of Londoner William Moore at Oldland Common after a particularly vicious strike in 1829. Fudge's predecessor, William Francombe, barely escaped with his life and fled to Duddingston, east of Edinburgh. In 1840 and 1842, Fudge was listed as the shared owner occupier of the factory with Isaac Short. Some time after 1842, Fudge left the hatting trade and, for over 20 years, he and Rebecca were victuallers and beer sellers on Oldland Common, earning enough to do some farming at the end of his days.
Rebeckah died in 1878.
